Do you want to know what you have to do to be successfull in internet marketing? John Thornhill spills the beans in the You Tube video below. He shows 4 of his products JV Auction Prfofits, Profit from PLR, Your Own E Book Business and Planet SMS Digital Mentorship. He shows you in the Video that all the products have been created by himself, they all have opt in forms on the sales page and they have all been added to Clickbank. John then shows you how much each site is making and basically says find a formula then keep repeating it. The great thing about this video is that John is not trying to sell anything he is just doing some teaching in his great, friendly, easy to listen to manner. I recommend everyone to check out this video, digest the information then go away and act on it
There is a new digital magazine out called Start Up TV which i heartily reccommend. It is full of interesting articles and interviews with some of the major players around in the world of business and a must for any budding entrepeneur and the good news is that it is free to subscibe to, it has been released by the team behind the start up business and franchise shows so they know all about business and have access to top entrepeneurs who can give you the benefit of their wisdom. The really clever part of the magazine is that it is packed with video interviews, so you open the page, click the link and you find people such as David Gold or Doug Richards telling you about their business and what it took for them to be so successful, it’s like being in your own private seminar.
Other articles in the first issue include Michelle Dewberry, the 2006 winner of ‘The Apprentice’ and why she resigned after just 4 months to concentrate on personal ventures. Rob Law on how he turned his business ‘Trunki’ from being ridiculed in Dragons Den into an international business and Nick Jenkins of Moonpig.com the online personalised greeting card company which now receives 99,000 orders every day.
There are loads of other articles giving details about Finance, insurance, networking and loads more they even have Levi Roots inside giving the magazine a bit of a Caribbean flavour.
So the Oscar’s are over for another year and in the latest David and Goliath battle, Goliath got soundly trounced by David in the number of Oscars won.
‘The Hurt Locker’ and ‘Avatar’ both had 9 Oscar nominations but there the similarities end. Avatar, or dances with Smurfs as it has been unkindly named, cost well over $200 million to make, while The Hurt Locker had a very modest budget of $15 million. Of course a lot of interest was shown in the battle between Kathryn Bigelow the producer of The Hurt Locker and her former husband James Cameron who produced Avator and here Kathryn came out on top as the first woman ever to win an Oscar for best director, apparently James Cameron was highly delighted for her and joined in a standing ovation, although you wonder whether he was actually seething inside. The Hurt Locker also won 5 other Oscars including best film, while Avatar only won 3 Oscars in total all for artistic effects.
So is Avatar a loser? Well although it was the most costly film ever to make it has already become the highest grossing picture ever already grossing nearly 3 billion dollars, beating the next film on the list Titanic also directed by James Cameron.
I have been to see Avatar and was noit sure what to expect but have to say that i really enjoyed it. The fim is very long (161 minutes) but did not seem over long, it is essentially a morality, ecology and greed. The story is set in the 22nd century when man has finally stripped the Earth of all it’s natural resources and a newly discovered planet called Pandora is a lush, exotic world with all the resorces we require, so a ruthless mining company plans to drive the indigenous people off the land and strip the planet bare. If anyone has not seen the film yet i reccommend you go and see it, i don’t think you will be disappointed.
As for The Hurt Locker, well i have not seen the film yet and had no plans to see it but since it won the Oscar i will probably now go and see it so in that respect it has also won
Long before i was interested in internet marketing i was given the name of Martin Avis and advised to sign up for his twice weekly E magazine called Kickstart. Tthis i did and from that time on i have had it popping up in my E mail, in box twice a week, when i first started reading it some of the internet articles went over my head, but he always puts little interesting items in it about himself and his family and what they have been doing and over the time i have been receiving it i now find i look forward to reading what has been happening to them. This weeks article touched me quite a lot, as he was talking about bringing his daughter home from university because she was feeling so ill, eventually she got so bad that they took her to hospital on Saturday night and after much waiting around they found out that she had tonsillitus and glandular fever so no wonder the poor girl was feeling so rotten, thankfully she is now on a course of treatment that is starting to make her feel better. Martin also includes quotes and revues of books he has read and products he has tried and always gives an honest opinion of what he thinks of them. I would highly recommend you check out Martin Avis’s blog and sign up for Kickstart
So here i am just at the end of week 2 of the John Thornhill Marketing Masterclass and it just keeps getting better and better, i can’t believe that i have progressed so far in such a short time, it gives you a wonderful feeling of pride and achievement when you look back at what you have done. John has such an easy to follow, friendly way of teaching that he makes it seem as if he is in the same room as you. This week i followed one of his teaching sessions and when it worked out exactly as he said it would i actually punched the air and gave out a great cry of YES!!
John Thornhill first came to my attention last year when i was struggling with E bay, you know how it goes, you list loads of items, then sit back and wait for the sales, but you end up getting a few watchers and even less buyers, i ended up getting quite dis-heartened and almost gave up E bay as a bad job. Then someone mentioned John Thornhill’s 90 day Powerseller Challenge, so i studied it started implementing some of his principles and boy what a change, i almost immediately started seeing really good results. So when i had the opportunity to join John’s Masterclass i knew that it was a no brainer and i am so glad that i did, if i have made this musch progress after just 2 weeks imagine what progress i will have made by week 30.
Following on from my blog yesterday when i talked about Facebook and the Farmville game, i would today like to mention another fascinating and highly popular game ‘Mafia Wars.’ This is quoted as being the worlds largest social networking game and is played on Facebook, My Space and Yahoo. It involves building up your Mafia members, weapons, transport, homes, money etc. and taking on other players to build yourself up to Godfather status. Unfortunately many players find themselves stuck at lower levels, unable to move through the ranks and consistently losing fights and their health in the process. such a person was Tony ‘Dub’ Sanders who decided to start tracking the major players, effectively spying on them, to find out all the strategies they use to succeed in the game, he then road tested these methods and was stunned by the results. Tony has progressed through the ranks and is now one of the top players in the game, in fact he is the ultimate Godfather of the Mafia Wars Game. He has now produced a guide to help anyone progress through the levels of Mafia Wars at incredible speed, recruiting members, winning fights and getting tons of money in your Mafia bank along the way, with this guide you will never again be bullied by other Mafia Wars players, you will become one of the top dogs. If you are a serious player you need to have a copy of Mafia Wars Blueprint
Well here goes with my second post and i thought i would like to make a few comments on facebook. Over the past few years facebook has gone from strength to strength and now just about every other person you speak to is on facebook and it seems that everyone wants to get more friends on their site than the next person, it really doesn’t seem to matter if you have known the person for years or if you have only just met them you have to include them on your site. Another big part of facebook is the games and the most popular seems to be Farmville where evryone wants to build up a bigger and better farm than their neighbour, this really does seem to grip people and like most games there are certain tips and tricks to help you succeed in the game and get through the levels quicker. Tony Dub has researched Farmville and has put these strategies together in a book which no serious player should be without. If you want to become the perfect farmer you need to get your hands on a copy of Farmville Secrets
Okay so here we are, welcome to my blog this is my first addition to it. I am a self employed sales agent, selling gift and confectionery lines to businesses in the South West of England, which involves a lot of driving. In August 2009 i celebrated my 60th birthday (yes celebrate is the right word i had a great party with lots of friends and family) however i realised that although i love my work i probably won’t want to be doing all the driving in a few years time. So i start investigating Internet based work, i was already selling on E bay so that was a good place to start, i soon started hearing the name John Thornhill cropping up a lot of times so thought i would investigate him a bit further, then i allowed myself to get sidetracked by some other people who had ‘The Greatest Internet Business Ever’ for them maybe, but not for the poor suckers who paid them money, so having learned my lesson i came back to John Thornhill and decided that the best course for me was to sign up for his Masterclass. Having started the course i immediately had some computer problems which meant i could not start at the same time as everyone else, then when that was cured i ran into problems with linking my E mail address to my E mail client, John was very supportive as was Dan at D9 hosting who was so patient with me and stopped me from throwing my computer out of the window. I am now making real progress and this 60 year old guy now has a blog and i am really starting to learn and achieve. The future starts here, looking forward to linking up with all my fellow masterclass students. Here ends my first blog, till the next time take care everyone. Graham
